While I can certainly build standard type trolling rods, almost all of my custom rods are built with a spiral guide wrap.  A spiral guide wrap is what sets my rods apart from other trolling rods.  A spiral guide wrap is the method of allowing the line to transfer to the bottom of the blank, much like a traditional spinning rod.
